The Board of Directors of The Coca-Cola Company Announces Two Officer Elections

Elects Ceree Eberly as Senior Vice President and Chris Nolan as Vice President and Treasurer

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The Board of Directors of The Coca-Cola Company today announced two officer elections: Ceree Eberly, senior vice president, chief people officer, and Chris Nolan, vice president and treasurer.

Ms. Eberly, a 19-year veteran of the Company, was recently promoted to chief people officer, with responsibility for leading the Company's global People Function (formerly Human Resources). She succeeds Cynthia McCague, who is retiring from the Company after 28 years of service with the Coca-Cola system.

Prior to assuming the role of chief people officer, Ms. Eberly served as group human resources director for Europe. She joined the Company in 1990, serving in staffing, compensation and other important roles, supporting business units around the world. She was human resources director for the Latin Center Business Unit and vice president of the McDonald's Division, responsible for Customer Management, Operations, Communications, and Human Resources.

Ms. Eberly has a bachelor of arts degree in biology from the University of Tennessee.

Mr. Nolan was elected as vice president and to the position of treasurer, succeeding David Taggart, who stepped down from the role due to health reasons.

Chris joined the Company in 1992, and served in various roles in Corporate Auditing and Corporate Treasury, including his last position as manager, Financial Risk Management & Corporate Finance. Chris left the Company in 2004 to serve as the Treasurer of Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company in Athens, Greece. He rejoined The Coca-Cola Company in December 2008 as director, Insurance Risk Management and Investments. Before joining the Company, Chris worked as an auditor with Coopers & Lybrand.

Mr. Nolan has a bachelor of business degree from Emory University in Atlanta.

Ms. Eberly's election is effective April 1, 2010, as she transitions back to the U.S. and Mr. Nolan's election is effective immediately.
